DEVBENCH · LEGAL
Terms of Service
Last updated July 2026
These terms govern your use of devbench.tools (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The Service
devbench is a collection of free developer utilities that run entirely in your browser. We provide them for convenience, at no charge, with no account required. We may add, change, or remove tools at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process content you have no right to process.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Represent the Service or its output as your own product where doing so would mislead others.
Your data & content
The tools run client-side: content you paste or upload is processed in your browser and is not sent to or stored by us. You are responsible for the content you process and for keeping your own backups. See our Privacy Policy for details.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of output. Automated conversion, decoding, and formatting can contain errors — always verify results before relying on them in production.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, devbench and its maintainers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service.
Intellectual property
The devbench name and branding belong to us. The output you generate from your own input is yours. Portions of the project may be released under an open-source licence; where that applies, the licence terms govern that code.
Third-party links
The Service links to third-party sites (e.g. Bit Project, Buy Me a Coffee, Google). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Changes
We may revise these terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
